About Us

Scoil na Trionóide Naofa is the chosen name for the new secondary school to be built in Doon, Co. Limerick. It will bring together 3 schools; St. Fintan's CBS, St. Joseph's Convent of Mercy and St. Michael's College and will be a voluntary secondary school under the patronage of CEIST, Catholic Education, An Irish Schools Trust.

Timeline

sample imageFull planning permission has been granted (January 2012) Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2012, with an opening in September 2013. A number of conjoined staff days have already taken place with more planned over the next year focusing on curriculum, policy development

New: School Uniform/ Crest

Following a consultation with students, teachers and parents, the school uniform for Scoil na Trionóide Naofa has been selected. The crest was selected from a competition held across the 3 schools.

Tender Awarded/ Full Planning Permission Granted

The tender has been awarded to BAM Construction. Full planning permission was granted in January 2012.
